Social Media Intern Summary
Our new not-for-profit, organization seeks an individual looking to be a part of a team of professionals who are dedicated to improving the quality of life of families struggling against relentless disadvantages and shortcomings. The ideal candidate should be comfortable assisting the team help vulnerable pregnant women recognize their strengths, vulnerabilities, improve health habits and minimize risk. Interns of choice will be adept at representing the organization via the website and social media. If you are committed to working with vulnerable women and their families before, during and after pregnancy and you desire a team approach through which you can learn practical application of program execution, we want to meet with you.
Social Media Intern Responsibilities
• Contribute to website redesign project
• Monitor and post on blogs, forums, and social networks
• Assist with online outreach and promotion using Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and more
• Optimize website and social media
• Perform keyword analysis
• Provide team consultation
• Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and 3 Times As Many, Inc. procedures and By-Laws
• Provide status reports to the Executive Director
Social Media Intern Preferred Requirements and skills
• Marketing/Business or Language major
• 3 years of experience with Internet and social media platforms
• Energetic and creative
• Hard-working and team-oriented
• Some College education and/or degree preferred
• Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills
This position reports to the Executive Director of 3 Times As Many, Inc.
